Arunkumar & Ramniklal Mehta Scholarship
ARRA Scholarship, one of the Foundation's flagship initiatives, is a merit-based, fully funded scholarship inspired by and in memory of Shri. Ramniklal Mehta and Shri. Arunkumar Mehta. This Scholarship supports academically and socially inclined Indian students pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate education in leading institutions across India. ARRA scholarship aims to promote academic excellence and recognise outstanding students with brilliant academic rigour, strong life purpose, leadership, and intellect.
The selection process places key emphasis on academic excellence, character, and commitment, with no biases to an applicants gender, caste, race, marital status, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, social background, creed, or disability. Selected scholars receive full financial assistance for the entire duration of the degree program.

Mr. Viral Doshi
Viral Doshi a graduate in Engineering from Cornell University USA, is a renowned educational consultant, career coach and mentor. His company Viral Doshi Associates has offices in Dubai, Singapore, London and New York. It offers comprehensive portfolio of services ranging from psychometric testing, career mentoring and college planning for the students aspiring to study abroad and in India. He is also an advisor to several educational institutes in India and overseas and is on the board of the Tata Education Trust and NDTV. He writes regularly on careers and education for magazines, newspapers and online portals and is also a popular speaker at schools, colleges and conferences. Mr. Govind Iyer
Govind Iyer is an Independent Director of Infosys. He retired as a Partner at Egon Zehnder (a Global leadership advisory Firm). Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Govind worked at Procter & Gamble, Coca-Cola, and Heinz. Govind has served on the Wharton Executive Education Advisory Board. He has served on the Advisory Board of Asian Venture Philanthropy Network (AVPN). He is a founding board member and Chairperson of Social Venture Partners in India, is a board member at GIVE India, and is a #LivingmyPromise signatory. He is also on the Board of Karmayogi Bharat, a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) of DoPT, which will enhance capacity building in the civil service through the iGOT Karmayogi platform. Govind has a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Regional Engineering College, Trichy, and an MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

Educational Expenses | Tuition fees, laboratory fees, and other fees as per the college fee structure |
Living Expenses | College Hostel – fee paid to the college or as per the fee structure provided by the college and will be paid directly to the college. Paying Guest/rented accommodation – matching amount of college hostel or proof of accommodation (rent slips/rent agreement), whichever is lower. |
Maintenance Allowance | A fixed maintenance allowance of upto INR 30,000 per annum is provided to meet necessary incidental expenses (books, stationery, communication, internet, etc.) during term time. |
Scholarship Features
- First-year students (AY 2024-25) accepted in full-time UG or PG courses in the identified colleges can apply for the Scholarship.
- The applicant must have been admitted to any of the Institutions/Colleges through a national-level competitive examination shall be considered. A student securing admission through any special quota shall not be considered for the Scholarship
- The applicant should be a regular student of the Institution/College. Distance education, diploma, or any online courses will not be considered.
- The fee payment schedule will apply to all scholarship disbursements.
- No transaction will be made in cash to the student or institution.
